Photo Detector Matrix
The Photo Detector Matrix is designed for light absorption/emission studies. It can detect light absorption changes from the light going through the sample or it can detect emission coming from the sample itself (luminescence).
Photo Detector Matrix consists of the 2 x 3 matrix with LED illumination and photodiode detectors (Fig. 1). The standard setup consists 6 different wavelengts: UV (370 nm), Blue (465 nm), Green (522 nm), Yellow (589 nm), Red (623 nm) and IR (830 nm). It is possible to change LED’s for customer specific purposes from UV to IR area. For instance the LED’s can be all same colour, they can be chosen from commercially available range of LED wavelengths, etc. The light intensity can be varied linearly. The applied light can be pulsed or continuous.
Photo Detector Matrix prototypes have been made for customer pilot project.
